The ViP622 does have two satellite tuners, plus an OTA tuner. Note that the Ethernet port currently serves no function: It's reserved for "future upgrades." Also, the unit ships with a limited set of cables. My Samsung HLN-507 DLP rear-projection TV accepts DVI, not native HDMI. So it was off to Fry's Electronics to pick up an HDMI-to-DVI cable.

The unit also ships with two remotes. You can actually connect a second remotely located TV via coax cable, but you'll only get 480i on the second TV and use the second remote to control the ViP622.
